Lane Kiffin The Coach
I have reached the age where It's hard to get very excited about sports. For some reason, this coach is something to pay attention to. He turned 35 in May. He has been a Head Coach in the NFL, Tenn. Vols. and now USC Trojans. In the NFL his record was 5 and 15. In college it was 7 and 6 ( all at Tennessee) and he is 0 for 1 in bowl games. I read where his salary is now $4 Million per year. The 1 year he was at Tenn. as I recall he was something of a loose cannon, left after only 1 year and after creating a lot of controversary. USC is currently under some type of probation. I wonder if they expect things to improve with Kiffin. We can all hide and watch.

Doesn't hurt his last name is Kiffin, and he brought his dad, one of the best defensive coordinators ever, with him to USC if I'm not mistaken.
That program has some recruiting advantages others don't have, so I expect him to be successful there if he stays awhile. Every coach has some "warts". His have just been more visible than some others.04-cheers

I think the NCAA has its eye on Kiffin. I will look elsewhere. Talk about a dirty coach...
