3PT log jam
I don’t know if you had noticed, but we have a log jam at the top of the career 3PT% list.
Barky - .411
Zachery - .410
Robert Greene - .409
Tony Martin - .408

Not sure if it's realistically possible, but if Mouzy were to make that list by the end of this season, I think there's no doubt we'd reach my goal of 20 wins.

RE: 3PT log jam
Matt is at 39.1% for his career. He would really have to have a phenomenal year to overtake them, making up 3 years in one.

RE: 3PT log jam
To be more specific, if Matt gets attempts this year equal to his biggest year, he would shoot 191 three-pointers. That would give him 585 for his career. In order to boost his career average to .411, he would have to make 240 career shots. He would have to make 86 of those 191 attempts, or shoot 45% in his senior year. That could happen, of course, but it would require the fourth-best single-season average in history with one of the highest single-season total attempts ever. They don't keep totals on attempts, but Barky took 234 in 1999 when he shot .406 and Zachery took 223 in 2002 when he shot .413, so if Matt shoots 191 again this year, it will be a lot. And not wishing him ill, but I hope we have enough offensive weapons that he doesn't have to take that many 3-pointers himself. Of course, if he makes 45% of them, bomb away!

I was watching DeAndre Williams shoot around for just a few minutes this evening. He made more 3 pointers in 2 minutes than I saw Lionel hit in 2 years. Looks like he has a really pretty shot. Shooting around with the shooting machine passing you the ball back, is a lot different than shooting in a game. Still his form looks good and he was making a lot of shots.

The funny thing is that Lionel's release always looked pretty good, but he just couldn't put the ball in the basket. It's sort of like my putting stroke. It looks real good, but the ball doesn't go in very often.04-cheers

Matt probably won't be able to get into that group percentage wise, but he could end up in the top 5 in 3 pointers made if he gets enough shots.
He's already around #6 or 7 if I remember correctly. Not bad for a former walk on. We could use a few more of those.04-cheers
