Providence, the Hall, and DePaul Football
The Big East should have Providence, the Hall, and DePaul start football programs and move them up to BCS levels. That would give the Big East the Providence market which was lost due to Boston College, the New York market as Rutgers really does not deliver that market without the Hall and St. Johns, and DePaul would give the Big East the Chicago market. It is a win win situation. At the same time, Conference USA will continue to get stronger, I have a feeling that Conference USA will drop an expansion bomb sooner than the Big East. Some football players that I talked to recently have all given up hope that we will get into the Big East any time during their stay at UCF though a few were told that we would be in the Big East while being recruited.

That must be one big high school. DePaul has 25,000 students.

Big East football is going down the road of crashing, might as well crash big while C-USA gets better. We'll see where we are five years from now.

So Big East football is on the road to crashing because we didn't add UCF, but I guess C-USA is going to get better on the back of UCF? Sounds like someone is frustrated that we're talking about schools like Villanova and Georgetown upgrading their football programs.

By the way, I apologize to the OP for going there. I'm taking it upon myself to move this to the C-USA smack board.
