Congrats to Utah. It deserves to be in a BCS conference. The Pac 10 adds Colorado and Utah and goes to 12. I like this outcome for the Pac10. TCU will listen now. But the Big East has to make the call.

If we're going to go the Texas route here's the other things I want to happen:
UCF and Temple need invites and here's why:

Regional Groupings:
UCF - USF: Florida
Temple - Rutgers - UConn - Syracuse: Northeast
Pitt - Cincy - WVU - Louisville - Ohio Valley
TCU - Houston: Texas

Everyone has a travel partner or partners in that case.

That's a good conference and it increases the number of BCS AQ teams by 5 (including Utah to Pac 10.)

Also I still want 9 conference games, 5 divisional games, 2 permanent crossover rivals, 2 rotating crossover rivals. It feels more like a real conference when you know there will be 7 schools you see annually and only 4 that will get played only 2 out of 4 years.

On another note congratulations indeed to Utah and their AD Dr. Chris Hill (a Rutgers alumnus) on finally getting that BCS AQ tag they've deserved it for a long time.

I think people under consider geography, even CUSA would be much more bearable if USF was in it... I think something like this would work very well...

Utah should do a statue of Urban Meyer and put it next to the Stadium.
He really got that program going, same for BGSU.

no Temple

even if Memphis can't bring FedEx money, I'd still take them in a heartbeat over Temple

Utah is a good fit for the Pac-10.

They should compete there very well. I expect them to be competitive right away for the Pac-12 title, especially w/ USC taking a smack from the NCAA.

I don't see any obvious choice for the MWC to add to replace them... Houston would seem the most likely. They are pouring $$$ into their program. Nevada doesn't really seem to add much of anything. UTEP might be an option, or Fresno State. It will be interesting to see what they do... I suspect they'll stick at 9, with Boise essentially replacing Utah.

You got to be happy for Utah...

Not sure if anyone has thought about it, but this would be the first non-BCS to BCS move of the summer...

Those guys must be stoked...

I wouldnt be too surprised if BYU and another gets the invite with Utah to the Pac 10. BYU with the national brand for market, and possibly Colorad State.

From the web, PAC 11 will not take BYU cause they will not play on Sunday. That has played against BYU always cause they would have been BcF by now.

The Pac-10 reportedly was only interested in expanding to 12 or 16(with the Big 12 schools).
