Us expanding into Texas is a fool's errand. We'd need to get to 10 which I think UCF gets the nod for sure. The other comes down to Memphis really having Fred Smith's backing and Temple for footprint reinforcement/reviving old rivalries & traditions. If the latter is untrue as I expect then Temple gets the nod for now. In a few years we see where things are at and can expand again.

I see some potential benefits to having a BEast footprint in DFW and Houston. The Texas recruiting base is vast, and getting exposure down there is the way to gain interest...

Although if I had my choice of teams in Texas, I'd prefer to see if Texas Tech feels a bit left out with all the riches thrown to the big boys in the state. You never know, unless you ask...
