Tim Howard's ribs...
He may have fractured his ribs (reported by Fox Soccer). That just pisses me off! I would love to get another shot at the Brits during this tournament!

If Howard can't go, we are fortunate to have two great options in Guzan and Hahnemann.

Even if the other two keepers do indeed play in the English Premier league and that position is the US best position, at this point I would like hiim to still play in the box unless it will not be possible. Bad break for the Men's National Team (no pun intended) if indeed the report is true.

I would too, because that would mean we've made the semi's, at least.

Grant Wahl reported on Twitter that Tim Tim Taroo was cleared today to play against Slovenia. No serious injuries.

No way Timmy's ribs are broken. He wouldn't put his team in peril for selfish reasons.

I'm just happy that Hesky didn't connect with his arm, that could have been really bad.

RE: Tim Howard's ribs...
He was close enough. If you read Peter King's article on SI.com, he feels that Howard's shoulder actually subluxed a bit. Thankfully there's a good bit of time between games, a little rest and some Toradol and cortisone will hopefully have him in good shape.
