Considering where transfers from UNO, the league's worst team ended up. Akron was 24-10 and Eastern Kentucky was 20-13, and both went to postseason. Oklahoma and Memphis speak for themselves.

Carl Blair, 6-2, G, Fr., New Orleans - OKLAHOMA
Charles Carmouche, 6-2, G, Soph., New Orleans - MEMPHIS
Quincy Diggs, 6-6, F, Fr., New Orleans – AKRON
Devin McDonald, 6-0, G, Jr., New Orleans – EASTERN KENTUCKY

I think that is a great observation.

I think that pretty much every team in the league has at least one or two players that could play for a "high major" but the Sunbelt teams just don't have the depth.

I believe size is the difference in the big boys and the Belt. We have some good mid sized players every season, but very few "Shaq" types.
When you see the NBA teams, the players are huge. If you've ever stood next to Fish, he's a pretty good sized man, but he looks tiny compared to a lot of the players on the court.04-cheers

Fish is short, but he's chiseled out of granite. That's how he compensates.
