So sad to see where he has passed. He'll be missed greatly by the college basketball world. The game could have no better person representing it. A very good coach, and without a doubt a GREAT man. I don't know if he was a great coach or not. Things were much different in college basketball when he was winning all those national championships, and 88 straight games. I realize that UCONN has a tremendous winning streak going in women's ball right now, but I personally don't think you'll ever see a win streak ever approach UCLA's steak of yesteryear in the men's game. Must have been a great coach at assessing talent, and then landing it. But again, after winning a few national titles, most any kid with the talent would have chosen UCLA back then.

It brings back a lot of memories. And think how old kids may be today who never saw Wooden coach. When you live that long, you outlive even a lot of your fans.
