2010-11 Schedule - What Do We Know?
With New Orleans dropping out of the league, it is probably a safe assumption that we will play all of the Western Division teams twice and the Eastern Division teams once. That would put us back to a 16 game conference schedule. If that is the case, and we are playing in an exempt tournament involving four games that count as one, then we will have 15 non conference games, for a total of 31 regular season games.
In non conference, here's what I think we know so far:
Home: Ole Miss, Tulsa, La Tech, and a home game in the Dayton/Cincy Tournament (who at this point is unknown)
Away: Oral Roberts, Missouri State, and three away games in the Dayton/Cincy Tournament (two of which are @ Dayton and @ Cincy, with the third likely to be @ Mt. St. Mary's in Maryland)
So that would account for 9 of the 15 non conference games. As much as I dislike it, I bet we play a couple of non-D-I games too. So that would make 11, with 4 left to schedule.
Have I missed anything that we know so far? Anybody have any additional information on next year's schedule?
