Just a wild guess, of course
but from the recruiting pattern so far I would say the staff is really high on Louzeiro.

The coaches have said publicly that the other big men hated to scrimmage against him because he just beat the bejabbers out of them.
He might end up being the surprise recruit of the past few years.04-cheers

And just might be (here's hoping) the reason we did not bring in more post men.

I remember hearing that he was being recruited by Nebraska. If that's true, he has to be fairly good. One of the coaches told me that he was used primarily as a screener and rebounder at his Juco, but he had the ability to do a lot more than that. He'll certainly receive the opportunity to do that this year. Let's hope he can fill the bill at the inside spot.04-cheers

If he had the ability to score, they would have used him for that, too.

Not necessarily. Remember that Chastity Reed wasn't a big star in high school because they had a big star, and Chas' role was different. She obviously had the ability to score. Maybe Marlo was in the same situation. His role was not necessarily comensurate with all his talents.
