Those dates are just more proof that college football has the worst postseason in all of sports. It's the polar opposite of college basketball in this regard.

Big Ten was so concerned about the layoff that the expanded their regular season into the weekend after Thanksgiving. Eventually the CFB regular season will once again be playing the same weekend as Army-Navy.

But really they should dump about 10 bowls to start, including some at the bottom of every AQ conference's roster.
