Going To 96 May Have Impacted Coaches' Decisions
Last Friday, University of Richmond Coach Chris Mooney turned down the Boston College job. Today, Brian Gregory of Dayton did the same. Both Coaches chose to stay in upper division Atlantic-10 jobs rather than take a potentially lower division ACC job.
I know a lot more about why Mooney turned down the job than I do about Gregory, but ESPN's Andy Katz thinks that the possibility of the tournament going to 96 may have impacted both of the coaches decisions.
