Lady Sooners keep winning
The Lady Trojans are looking better all the time. Sooners beat Kentucky worse than they beat us. The Little Rock girl had a great game last night, after hitting the crucial shot that beat Notre Dame in the previous game.

Had she been around within the last year or two, we might have recruited her. I think her family lives right across the street from UALR.
Shame we missed out on that one, but I'll bet we start getting a few of those as long as Joe Foley stays around, which I hope will be a long time. Let's hope he can hit the 1,000 victory total while he's the UALR coach.

If he does that he MIGHT get inducted into the UALR Hall of Fame.

Right along with Mike Newell.

Mike's a few wins shy of Foley, but he did have a pretty good record coaching the Trojans.

Nice to see the team that beat us in the Final 4. I honestly believe if we didn't have our worst shooting night in the Foley era, we could have beaten them.

I do also Mickey. As bad a first half as we played, I'm really surprised we didn't get beat by 30+.

For those who think defense wins championships, it does certainly help, and it probably was responsible for the game being as close as it was, but when all is said and done, you still have to make baskets, and 0-13 or 16 or whatever it was from 3 point land doesn't win a lot of games, no matter how good your defense is.
