If the Chicago Bears....
....flat out release Alex Brown, I'm officially turning in my fandom for that team. I do not even think the current Bears administration could be THAT stupid, but I really should know that is a very risky thing to assume. Alex Brown has been arguably the best Bear the past several years along with Briggs. Lovie has never liked Brown, I believe its mainly because Brown will actually tell it like it is in post game preferences by saying things like "we stunk". I know that irritates the hell out of Lovie, but at this point you cannot be releasing your best players over stuff like this.

"Lovie has never liked Brown" "I know that irritate's Lovie"

Are you on the inside here? You just makes things up. You have no idea what you are talking about. I don't like the move either, but your reasoning is just stupid. I realize this idiocy from you is nothing new, but where do you come up with this stuff?

RE: If the Chicago Bears....
He's not that great of a player.. Good locker room guy, good guy to the media, but football is a business. They have a log jam, on the line with Melton and Gilbert needing playing time. Anderson is in a contract year. Idonije?? The guy is built like superman, maybe he can play like it.

Having two guys fill one spot, while saving money, is a smart move. Any two players can easily fill the end position he has for the last years. Not many teams are going to pay him the salary he is due based on his play. Leadership and being a good guy doesn't mean you're worth $5mil a year.

Releasing Brown is most likely not to just save money. That money is going to bring in Atogwe or Sims, who are both a million times better at their position than Brown is at defensive end.

I like A. Brown as the next guy, but he is not essential for the Bears success. I understand that you are a damn fool root for stupid things, but the Bears can win without him.

Prediction: YOU SUCK MADAWGS!. Not because are an NIU fan, but because you are an idiot.

Releasing one of the few productive players on an otherwise below average team, I just do not get that.

The bears should have never opened their mouths on saying they were going to release or trade him. Should have shopped him quietly and gotten something pretty decent in return. Now nothing. The bears mgmt. has to be amongst the leagues best....

they still wouldn't have gotten much. No team wants to pay Brown the money he is making.

What do you say about this? No words here, I just cannot believe the lack of vision and leadership. Like was said above, why do you freakin announce you are going to cut someone while you are trying to trade him. The Bears put the s-t-u-p-i-d in stupidity.

Alex Brown broke the two Bear cardinal rules 1) Dont be productive 2) Dont speak the truth For that...he gone.
