Butler's coach. He is 33. I will be very interested to see if he bolts for the money or sticks around. There are not many better programs he could move to, but he might be able to get more cash.

RE: Brad Stevens
That has been my thinking all along. Why can't we get a young, energetic coach such as that, or the coach at Memphis. They could come in, work hard, be successful and move on. IMO, a program like UALR does not need to have a long term, set-for-life coach. As for the N.Iowa 10 year extension? We don't know the financial details but, it' appears to be another example of an exuberant AD spending other people's money.

RE: Brad Stevens
IMO, at UALR, unless the coach is thought of by potential recruits as a real winner, a rising star, a 5 year deal is too long.

RE: Brad Stevens
I don't get the point. What does that have to do with contract extensions 5 years later?

I think the coach at Memphis is making around a million a year. Or at least $750,000. We need someone younger. If the Memphis coach receives that much money, then our coach would probably have to be a junior high student.04-cheers
