Who wants a Single Payor(government controlled) Health System?
Since we are inching closer to a single payor system(Medicare on steriods), who is in favor of it? Do you think the vast majority of citizens will get better more affordable insurance.

What say you?

I say medicare for all citizens. Takes the burden off business and makes the American workforce more competetive.

I am going to stop responding to RobertN. He never has a rational thought and I am wasting my time trying to enlighten someone who can not think for himself.

Klake: Are you asking if people want an alternative insurance option through the government, or all of health care to be controlled by the government?

If this bill passes, we are on our way to total government health care. If you think the liberals are going to stop at this bill, you are crazy. Medicare and Medicaid are disasters financially. When you add millions more to the government rolls it will cost more. I just love how the bill cuts payments to doctors 22% but another bill will give them the money back $230 billion. I know Robert is that dumb but I did not think you are that dumb

RE: Who wants a Single Payor(government controlled) Health System?
I say make people pay for regular visits and their own prescriptions, and have insurance for major medical and they pricy drugs so noone goes bankrupt. And, no more drug commercials on TV. This would make doctors have to compete in terms of price and quality, and people wouldn't take prescriptions they don't need. Since there is no competition for the public's business, and we have no idea of the quality of the doctor or hospital we are using there is no way to choose a doctor. But by all means, keep the government out of it. They mess up everything they touch.
