In watching UAPB, I became depressed when
I saw how crisp their offense was. They weren't great shooters, but they had a good mix of role players. All played great defense, but on offense they passed the ball quickly, moved to get open, and looked to hit an open shooter, whether he was inside or out on the perimeter. Made our offensive scheme look pathetic.

And the sad thing is that our coaches allowed players to play totally selfish ball without sitting their butts on the bench when it occurred. It's as though they were determined to keep a couple of guys happy at the expense of the rest of the team. I don't think the coaches ever got complete control of the team, or at least certain individuals. That selfish stuff could have been eliminated in the first game or two had they addressed it property. UAPB coach showed how it should be done.04-cheers

That's the same thing I observed. In fact, I was surprised at how well they played as a team, moved without the ball, didn't take poor percentage shots etc. Seemed to me they have good ballplayers who are disciplined and well coached.

Well coached if that includes allowing bad shooters to shoot whenever they want It works againt the Winthrops of the world, though.
