Where to stay in Louisville?
I've made the decision to stay dowtown. Now I need to decide exactly where...

Hyatt, 21c, Galt House, Seelback Hilton, Brown or elsewhere?

Which is nicest? Which has the best bar? Which is closest to bars and restaurants?

I frequent Louisville a lot for business and for Thunder and Derby over the past few years and I must say the Hyatt, 21c, Galt, the Brown are all very nice. The Galt has great views while the Brown is closer to Old Louisville which is a nice walk if you are into architecture just stay east of 6th and 7ths street as the areas west of there are really run down and projects. Not sure which has the best bars but all are within walking distance of 4th Street live. If you are driving, Bardstown Road is a neat place about 5 or 10 minutes away from downtown with many bars and nice restaurants.
