Absolutely no evidence that their SOS had anything to do with their seeding. I thought they should have been a 4 or even a 3, but it was more a case of the committee wanting to overseed the major conference teams for their performance in conferences they perceive to be stronger than the A-10/12. Some of the seedings were silly.

Agreed. There is no way Temple should have been seeded lower than Wisconsin and Purdue among others. The selection committee shafted the Owls, not the MAC.

The selection committee wanted Temple vs. Cornell, Dunphy vs. Donahue, in the first round, and they made sure they got it (seeding be darned). In order to do it, they had to underseed both teams, rather egregiously in Temple's case. End of story.

BTW, my original point is quite valid and should seriously be considered by both the MAC and Temple. Or maybe it already has and status quo is most comfortable for all parties including those patrolling these messageboards? Just throwing the idea out there in a creative fashion.
