I don't think there is any way Oakland gets killed in the first round. They have legit talent. Benson, Nelson, and Wright are very good players. Not to mention Jonathan Jones as a senior point guard, and a guy no one mentions much Cushingberry has a very good feel for the game, and can also put the ball in the hoop.
Their problem is going to be a lack of a bench where in the tournament the lower seeds tend to struggle against the refs. But as a 13 or 14 can they beat a 3 or 4 this year? Of course.
I mean, you think Oakland can't hang with New Mexico?
