Remember When UNLV Committed Ed O'Bannon...
and Shon Tarver? Both were Top 100 kids from the west coast...O'Bannon was actually a Top 20 kid...Ed was a 6-8 forward and Tarver was a 6-5 guard...both would have played on the UNLV team that suffered it's only loss in the Final Four...interesting ESPN story, which touches briefly on that period of time...

I really do not remember that he had ommitted to UNLV Running Rebels in the early Nineteen Nineties. When people talk about one of the best Men's College Basketball team in the Nineteen Eighties, UNLV was definitely was one of them IMHO. Their run and gun team should have been played more in college in the end and I thought they were going to go undefeated that way, but it was not to be for them.
