Louisville/Cuse
game heating up.
Louisville shooting a lot of threes. SYR getting their points inside. Louisville two fast breaks off two bad passes by Rautins.

This is gonna be good. I think it looks better than the VIllanova game.

RE: Louisville/Cuse
Over the rest of the game, it turned like a tidal wave. At times, with this Kuric kid, it looked like they were specifically targeting Jackson & Johnson's part of the zone. I saw better boxouts by SU most of the game than the 1st game.

UofL made Rautins completely neutralized. SU also looked too slow when they pressed.

Some teams just have your number, and UofL had it during the season.

That my friends is how you say goodbye to an old friend AKA Freedom Hall.
Somebody should make a new video for spring break, "Kyle Curic gone wild"

RE: Louisville/Cuse
Kyle Kuric just etched himself into Cardinal lore today. 22 points in the 2nd half with four 3's and repeated thrown-downs over the zone.

The Cuse wasn't winning today. Not with the atmosphere and all the past champions in the house to honor the Hall.

Syracuse, you did get some good news from this result today. UofL is the 6 seed next week, so if you see Louisville it's in the title game. Good news for you, because Pitino owns Boeheim right now. UofL is 6-1 in the Big East in the matchup, with 6 straight wins, including 4-0 in the last 14 months.

Congrats to the Cards.

They definitely have our number. Made the #1 team in the nation look like a middle of the road Big East team.

Well, back to work now for the Orange.

Cheers,
Neil

Thanks, but it was a trap game for Cuse today. Hell, it was trap game for anyone that would have had to played today at Freedom Hall. 04-cheers

Call me a glutton for punishment but I hope we get Louisville in the BE tournament. We gotta beat them before heading off to the NCAAs. This is getting embareassing.

Of course they can pull the hat trick on us (3 wins) but I hope we get them to add drama to our ride.

Thanks Shannon!

The Hall deserved a "Game to remember" as a farewell.

Frog,

It's a death sentence playing the Cuse in MSG.

Frog,

Somebody didn't watch last year's Big East championship game. 03-wink

Actually, I made my first BE tourney (and 1st NYC visit) and it took an extraordinary effort to win. It didn't hurt that the Cuse had 6 OT soggy-legs at the time.

BTW- Absolutely the greatest basketball tourney on the planet.

Allot of respect for the Orange!!!!!

I do as well, because means we've made the final game.

Then I hope we both make the final game. We can't keep losing to Louisville and Pitt. Well, at least we're back to abusing Georgetown.

I said the exact same thing about a month ago. I saw this coming. With pitino having Jimbos number, it was no way we were winning this game in that atmosphere and emotion.

Congrats to the Ville. This makes 2 years in a row that the Ville has swept us. To make matters worse, we couldnt even beat them in fb this past season. We'll get you Cards one of these days. 03-lmfao
