mentioned for the Auburn job? Is it definite that Lebo will be gone? No wonder these big time coaches make so much money. Their tenure can be very short. It would be a blow for ASU if Brady were to leave now, but there's never been a doubt in my mind that if a big BCS job came open, he'd leave in a minute. And I don't blame any coach for doing that. I have no idea when he'll leave ASU, but if he has the opportunity to get back to the big time, could you blame him for leaving?04-cheers

RE: Did I see somewhere that Brady was being
I posted it earlier asking if anyone else was hearing it. Here is an excerpt from a post from a Hog message board...

"If Brady doesn't get the job at Auburn, it will be because he turned it down.

I received some info. from a couple of my coaching buddies this past week and that being, he had already been contacted by an Atlanta based search firm, to gage his interest in the job. That's why I made the post a few days ago."

And another...

"He may not be offered the job, only conveying what the word is among college coaches.
It is a fact he was contacted by, I assume Parker search firm in Atlanta,to gage his interest."

I couldn't and that's the kind of coach I want for us. One that is a winner, and who someone else wants to hire.

The search firm story has two interesting elements.
1. Search firms normally try to have a working list of 20-30 names before they get hired by a client.
2. That firm wasn't used by Auburn in their football search.
