Maybe not, but doesn't the NIT take the regular season champ in women's as in men's? Shoot, if we won it, I'd sure claim it, ficticious or no.

Don't know who Slatton is, but we have regular season champ banners from previous years hanging in our gym.

Jeff Slatton is the writer who covers the UALR program for the Democrat Gazette. As far as having banners hanging in your gym proclaiming you regular season champs, banner companies will print up anything you pay them to print. I have a shirt that says I'm the world's greatest lover. Now in that particular case it happens to be true, but even if it wasn't, the shirt company would have printed it for me. We need a new banner printed up. "We went to the NCAA tournament 20 years ago". I think that would look nice hanging in the Stephens Center.
