Last game of the regular season. Kennesaw State played well against Lipscomb, but has nothing to play for except ruining our day. I'm thinking the Seniors will pull through on their last night in uniform in the Byrd Cage and we'll have a substantial win. Thoughts of the rest of the board?

ETSU just won against Jacksonville. The clusterf>/k for first place is back on. If Lipscomb goes down to Mercer, and we can pull a win in this game, we take the regular season title. If Lipscomb wins, we'll be 2nd or 3rd... I can't figure out the official tie-breaking procedure.



...I really wish we wouldn't have lost to Gulf Coast. That hurts more everyday.

I could be wrong but I think if everyone wins tonight then we will still come out in 2nd. The first tie breaker would send DLU to first leaving JU, Campbell, and us tied for 2nd. I think the same rules would be applied to that tie breaker and since we swept Campbell and split with JU we would have the best record and take 2nd place... Again, I could be totally wrong but that is what makes sense to me

I see how you're thinking about it. I hope that's how it is. I was thinking of overall records between the 4 teams, which would put Lipscomb at 4-2, us and JU at 3-3, and Campbell at 2-4. From there, it could be the best record against Lipscomb, which we would lose.
That's the only rule that I could see causing us to be in third. It makes sense to me that it would go to the best record against the next team in line not in the tie breaker, which would be ETSU, which we have.

I don't know though. I cannot find one thing online even close to explaining the A-Sun's tiebreaker rules.

I guess we will know by the end of the night.

I come here in peace as a KSU fan apologizing for what I believe was our team's worst game of the season. I mean it's all good for you all, sounded like a fun atmosphere on the broadcast. Good luck in the tournament and here's to a team actually worthy of a bid. We're there by default because we're slightly better than Stetson. And that is absolutely nothing to write home about.
