Looking forward to honoring Alan Barksdale
tonight. I noticed where he is working for Rush Harding's investment banking firm. That's nice to see UALR graduates staying in Little Rock, and apparently doing well. Barky was one of our great ones in the years I've been a fan. And thanks to Rush for continuing to support UALR athletics in numerous ways.04-cheers

One of, if not my all-time favorite Trojan. And I'm asking a question here, because I don't know, but does anyone ever see Barky at Trojan games? If any former Trojan lives in the Little Rock area, they should be a season ticket holder and attend the games. I've never seen him at a game, but he could be there and I've just never seen him. I know very few of our former players ever set foot in Little Rock after they leave, but the few who do stay here, should do their part of supporting the program. And some of those that don't live here, should support the program to some degree financially.

Alan looked like he was still in playing shape. It was good to see an old favorite again. Do they receive anything for being elected to the Hall of Fame? They didn't present them with anything during the ceremony last night. Surely they get a plaque or something.

He played in the first Trojans game I ever saw.
