Hodzic is a nightmare matchup for all of us in the ASUN. I watch a great deal of college basketball and would argue that he's one of the better PF's in the nation.

Hodzic is good, but there are some holes in his game that will need to be addressed if Lipscomb is going to make noise next month. For one, he's turnover prone. He's not that good a passer (9 assists vs. 56 turnovers in conference play) and will commit more than his share of offensive fouls. He's also not that good a shot blocker (only 8 in 18 conference games before last night, one more than Jon-Michael Nickerson). Lipscomb's opponents also make 51% of their 2's, Hodzic's primary area of defensive responsibility.

How much better Hodzic gets between this year and next will go a long way in determining next year's conference champion.

Hodzic does not perform well against a talented athlete. That is his weakness. And that is why, assuming they can keep Slater under control, Kennesaw has a chance in their first post season game.
