So you have the tie breaker with Arkansas State and Lafayette for the third bye if you tie. How does that tie breaker work between you and Troy since you both won a game against each other? Let’s see you lost by 8 but won by 18 so I guess that gives you the tie breaker if we upset Troy?

Ok – Go UALR! Beat Troy for WKU and Hilltopper2K (can't say go Trojans beat the Trojans)

No... Troy swept MTSU so they will almost certainly have the tiebreaker over us. However, Troy has to play AT Arkansas State on Saturday so if they lose tonight they could very well lose again on Saturday. And assuming we win two more that would render the tie breaker moot.

So anyhoo... Go UALR!

great game by UALR. i was hoping troy could go in and take control quickly and hold on... didn't happen... i felt sure Troy was going to lose the game when halftime finally got around.

I don't know if UALR's team is young or not, but if they are, i believe they are certainly going to be good next year and afterwards.

Scotto, UNO almost spoiled your dream game. The led most of the way tonight in Jonesboro before losing by 7.

In local news, Mike Newell's Boll Weevils handed the Wonder Boys their first loss of the year with a 7 point win in Monticello.

Man we could not hold them off. We did not finish at the rim and could not get a stop when we needed it. We played hard and they did not have overwhelming inside game but it just did not workout.

Are we snakebit or what?

Good job Mike. To bad you can't coach a lick, or you'd be in the prestigious UALR Hall of Fame with a bunch of folks that couldn't carry your jock. By the way, you almost beat them in Russellville didn't you? You lost by two up there, didn't you?

Gave up a 16 point lead and let them hang 51 on us in the second half. Nice.

Not bad for a guy who can't coach huh? And he almost beat Tech up there. Got beat by two up in Russellville didn't he? Maybe Shields can give you some pointers. Then you might get selected to the prestigious UALR Hall of Fame.
