Women, RPI, and at-large bid
MTSU's RPI is 35. Seems like they will get an at large bid if they win out (no guarantee with road games at FAU and FIU) and lose to us in the final.
I think it is less clear for us with an RPI of 56 and with it sure to go down this week with games against UNO and Troy, 247 and 258 in the RPI. But, if we win out to the final, we will have a 21 game win streak. If we lose to a Top 40 MTSU team I just don't see how they can keep us out. The question is how low will our RPI drop after playing UNO and Troy, and possibly one or two low RPI teams in the tourny before we play MTSU. I think an RPI on the wrong side of 60 will make it tough to be selected. Of course, we can avoid that problem by winning the tournament. We aren't 20 points better than MTSU, but I don't see our chances as an worse than a toss-up.

I agree with your analysis, however, a winning streak like the Trojans have put together will be hard to ignore. If they lose in the finals to MTSU, and not before like you said, the streak would be at 21. Man, winning 21 straight games in anything is unbelievable!

That's not so great. Bryant University "lost" 26 straight games this season. Talk about keeping a great streak going. Now that's impressive.
