Conference Race
What do you think are our chances at running the table and winning the conference?

We have four games in a row at home and then two road games. All of the remaining games are tough. Blemont and Lipscomb have the easiest schedule the rest of the year.

I think we need to go 6-0 to win the conference. We can't lose another game.

RE: Conference Race
It looks like Belmont or Lipscomb will run away with the regular season title. Both teams have favorable schedules, unfortunately

RE: Conference Race
Hoping for a first place finish and a guaranteed post-season (NIT at least). But with Belmont/Lipscomb's remaining schedules, we're looking at 3rd IF we beat ETSU next week. I'm 99% sure we'll be the 3 seed even if we tie Belmont/Lipscomb. Watch JU, too. Their remaining schedule could allow them to reel off a bunch of wins and move into 3rd. CU needs to take care of their own games and hope for some outside help. With the exception of this weekend, we really need to be Mercer & KSU fans the rest of the way!!

I don't want the Camels to have to play Mercer in the 1st round, but it's possible (even likely) at this point. We need to watch this the rest of the way.

Well Lipscomb lost tonight, no one expected that. Still need to take advantage of this home stretch. Would be nice to win reg season and get NIT berth. They could possibly match us up with a team like UNC! You're right about Mercer.... They'll have the home court advantage this tournament and will be awfully tough to beat.

Never thought of that, UNC in the NIT would be sweet. Looks like UNC has done their part, now we need to close the deal.

Just heard that Ed Davis broke his wrist and is out for the remainder of the season. That should finish them off and provide an excuse as to their pooor season despite having 7 McD AA.

We control our own destiny. If we win out we are conference champions.

Thanks FGCU for giving us the chance.

RE: Conference Race
On the A-Sun board, Lipscomb fan "DadofTwins" posted a good breakdown of scenarios for the last week of the regular season in regards to seeding....

http://www.ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=421421

I haven't absorbed it all yet, but will study it while listening to the JU game.

RE: Conference Race
We are losing to North Florida at halftime. If we can't beat UNF we will be the 5th seed.

From 1st to 5th in a week. That is terrible.

The only good thing about finishing 5th is that you don't have to play Mercer the first round.

Very disappointing performance on the road guys. We must have peaked at the ETSU game last week. Very disgusted with our effort at Jacksonville and at N. Florida. If you can't beat N. Florida you don't deserve to win the conference. Those guys are horrible.
