What's it say about the Pac-10 who doesn't even have a team receiving votes?

Who among the coaches gave UConn a vote at 25th? Notre Dame ended up with 6 points, so they had some combination of a 19th place vote or multiple people voting for them at the back end. I don't see why you'd vote for either at the current time.

Congratulations on surpassing them in basketball as well as football. They'd still kick your @$$ in lacrosse though.

None of the RPI sites rank the MWC ahead of the ACC. They are better than the Pac 10 though.

I think I saw the results of the mock selection that the media takes part in and I think the A-10 had 4-5 teams, MWC had 3, PAC-10 had just the autobid team.

Actually, the mock committee had SIX A10 teams in:

#4 Temple vs. #13 Kent St.
#5 Pitt vs. #12 Charlotte
#7 Richmond vs. #10 Missouri
#7 Rhode Island vs. #10 Maryland
#7 Texas A&M vs. #10 Xavier
#8 Dayton vs. #9 Ole Miss

We're probably getting 4 or 5, though.

It's possible, just possible, that GA Tech may drop out of the Top 25 this week now that they are below .500 in the ACC.

That said, the ACC should have exactly ONE ranked team this week in the Coaches Poll. Wake might move in there in the AP. Pretty impressive!
