I just like that our coaches have integrity and don't lie about where recruits stand in the whole process. Make them desire to attend NIU. Didn't Novak only have 25 offers out at all times? He never gave out offers that we didn't have available. Kill doesn't stray too far from this same philosophy.

I'm not sure I agree with limiting offers to 25 - you're not going to get literally every kid you offer - but I'm also not a big fan of throwing out offers left and right just to get kids interested. There's a happy medium somewhere in there.

I would say -2- Rbs as well and as many players 6'4 or taller who can play any position. WR,DE<OL, LB.... We need to get BIGGER.

New offer...you don't see too many TEs targeted early by this coaching staff. Where is our resident Waubonsie expert?

TE Mark Szott

6'4" 225 lbs
40 time: 4.88 secs
Shuttle: 4.51 secs
Vertical: 26"

Other offers: Ball State

I know this kid, or least I know his Dad. I've played Basketball with his Dad several times. I believe Mark has played both varsity basketball and varsity football as a freshmen. Pretty athletic kid from what I understand.

Anyone have ESPN insider? In the article summary it said that Riley O'Toole has us along with 4 BCS schools as his favorites. Couldn't see anymore because I am not a subscriber. Very good news for us if that is true. http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/blog?name...%3d5026640

This isn't from the ESPN article, but it will be a huge recruiting upset by somebody if O'Toole doesn't go to Kansas, assuming they offer him a scholarship.

His profile has NIU & Toledo as his 2 favorites:

I watched him play basketball against glenbard east in the regional finals this year. Before the game started I definitely didn't think he would be that athletic, until the game started. A very coordinated, athletic, big kid, that would be a huge grab for NIU if he decided to come here.

You sure this isn't more accurate? http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ole-105555

I find it hard to believe his top two choices are Toledo and NIU if he has interest from KU, BC, Zona, etc. Also, if we somehow stole him from KU, it would be great for me. One of my good friends is a KU alum and we both went to WWS.

JC has a great RB/athlete in each of the next 3 classes.

Joshua Ferguson '11
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbaSFsRMpt0
Malin Jones '12
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1UmTDYrHqw
Ty Isaac '13
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLxKBUipusg

I would be estatic if we could get any of the above here.

Ty Isaac is a flippin' phenom considering his age.

Holy crap it's J.J. Watt's little brother! You know, the Wisconsin DE that owned us in last year's season opener.

LB isn't a need for us at this point, but if he is half as good as his brother I'll take him.

I'd agree Ritz. Prolly the one position that we should be stacked at for the next few years to come.
