RE: Texas vs. The Nation (Spann) - 2/5 1pm
I'm not getting his stats but my take was positive. He started for Texas, got a lot of praise from the announcers on his success in 2010, and got his fair share of carries all things considered. He was the 2nd most impressive player. Unfortunately the most impressive player by far was the RB behind him. BTW, he's the stud from Auburn so naturally overshadowed Spann and the other skill position players (outside of the QBs). The running plays certainly didn't help, and probably didn't hurt him. I think the screen pass raised Spann's stock however - just not sure if it's enough to get him drafted. He will certainly get camp invites.

Uh what? He was drafted 24th overall. He didn't have any FBS scholarship offers coming out of HS though.

I say #24 in the first round is a high draft choice.

LOL What do you consider to be a "high" draft choice?

How much higher can you get than being a 1st round selection?
