UofL Expansion update
Haven't seen anything on this in a while so I searched it and found these vids. It's looking pretty good Cards fans. Can't wait to come see it for myself.

I'll see if the vids will embed below:

Reportedly, all but about a dozen of the 70 suites have been sold at a price of $50,000 per unit.

Also, here is the latest video from PJCS

03-drunk I just heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend :secret: That a UL cheerleader was caught eating a double whopper with cheese value meal. Super sized With regular coke. Expansion is no longer in question.

Looks great, but I have a question about the design. Why did they not put seats at one end of the stadium. If they get rid of that building they could put seats in there. Might have been cheaper than building a new deck although the new deck has certainly better views.

That building contains the UofL football museum, football weight training facilities, team locker rooms, football coaches offices, etc. If they torn it down for seating, they'd have to rebuild it somewhere else.

The expansion is looking great. This is the kind of progress the Big East needs. Also why not just build a small seating area in the open end zone a permanent bleacher sort of structure as part of the student section.
