Since we were the worst team in the league
and we just beat the best team in the league, I guess the league race really is wide open.

There really is very little difference between the best and worst this year. ASU has gotten the bounces all year and we haven't. Last night we did. I think I'd be willing to let you pick any 3 teams to win the tourney, and I'd take the rest of the field. I just don't have a clue who the favorite would be right now.

I loved the big win, but I don't think there is any way we win that many games in that few days. We simply don't have the talent, and as much as our guys give it all they've got, it won't happen. I guess it doesn't hurt to dream though.

I certainly agree with you on that. I was just saying that its wide open, and probably everyone but UNO has, at least, a shot. As hard as our guys have to play, just to be competitive, it would take a true miracle for us to win 4 games in 4 days. I do think, if we get the 12 seed, that we could beat the 5 and 4 seeds and make it to Monday. I doubt we'd have much left at the point.

Surely Steve learned his lesson on making them go to class on game days. I will always believe that it had something to do with the way we played against South Al last year in the tournament. A tournament is supposed to be a reward and fun time for the kids. Take them over and let them stay until the lose out.

Steve said at the luncheon on Tuesday that the team would once again be commuting from Little Rock. My guess is this is not his decision. I'm not sure why we would do this. Is it simply to save money? Personally, I believe that it if the tournament is to be held at a "neutral" site, all teams should be required to stay there. We could argue whether its an advantage or disadvantage, but no team should be allowed to stay in their own beds.
