reported attendance report
Now averaging 3428 for the season, just marginally below last season. Incidentally, we are still a solid 3rd in the SBC in home attendance, well ahead of ASU in fourth.

The 5034 attendance was the second-largest for the Jack, behind only ASU in 2006.

I've bitched about our attendance for years. But now having been to UNO, S. Alabama, ULL, UNO, FIU, FAU, ULM, and UNT we have nothing to be ashamed of. I've also been to WKU and ASU, and they are the only schools who have consistently had better attendance than us. And for the most part, we've been as good or better than ASU for the last half dozen seasons or so.

It was a good crowd, thanks to ASU fans and some walk ups, but I don't think it was anywhere close to 5034. Mike Newell must have been counting them, huh Jim. There were many empty leather seats on the opposite side from me, and some on our side, and a whole bunch in the upper deck where I sit. I'd guess that it was at least over a thousand under capacity. But it was probably the loudest Stephens Center crowd I've ever heard when El Fuerte's shot fell through the net. I did notice that the west end zone crowd fell stunningly silent about the same time.
