The final seconds were interesting on the radio. It was obvious from listening to Tucker's voice that he thought the shot was going to miss. Then the crowd erupted and I couldn't understand him or Vint for several seconds to determine what was going on. It took a few seconds for anything to make sense audibly in the pandemonium.

I didn't think the shot had a chance either until it hit the rim and took that wild pop upwards. It looked like it was going to be short for sure, but maybe when El Fuerte heaved it he inadvertantly put some kind of spin on it which caused it to pop up on the backboard and then drop through.

I wonder if he plays pool.

Like I believe I posted, I started to look away thinking the game was over and a loss. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw the ball still in play and looked back just in time to see it drop through.
