Arizona St. (wants a 6th home game on 9/4)
Air Force (wants a 6th home game on 9/4, likely a I-AA)
Louisiana Tech (already has six home games, may be willing to do a road game, already scheduled to play Southern Miss)
Southern Miss (may want a 6th home game)
Syracuse (wants a 6th home game)
TCU (needs another game, may be willing to do a road game with five on-campus home games and game at Cowboys Stadium)

The following teams qualify for a 13th game, though it would have to be a home game since they play at Hawai'i
Idaho (has 5 OOC games scheduled)
Louisiana Tech (need a 12th game as mentioned above)
Nevada
San Jose St.
USC
UNLV (has scheduled 5 OOC games)

Thanks Matt...I'm going to post this info over on the Cuse board.

According to a TCU fan over at MWCboard, TCU has lined up Texas St. unofficially as the 4th OOC game.

So process of elimination... Louisiana Tech in the Carrier Dome then?

Seems likely unless there are other schedule changes. What could also help 'Cuse, again because La Tech can play 13 games, is if they can find a I-AA willing to go to Ruston and rope them into the negotiation.

Another team came available: Tulane. And they also already have six home games and may be willing to do a $$$ game. Just depends if they want to travel to two Big East schools as they will play at Rutgers sometime in 2010.

Southern Miss has completed their scheduling by adding Prairie View.

I'd prefer Tulane over La. Tech. Heck, sign 'em to a 2-for-1 deal. I wouldn't mind a trip back to New Orleans.

What opened up the hole in Tulane's schedule though?

Wake Forest took on a FCS team (Presbyterian). PU will play two ACC teams back to back. Wake Forest one week, Clemson the next.

I'm expecting that since these holes have been filled, SU is working at finding a 2nd FCS team

Arizona St. (wants a 6th home game on 9/4) - filled with Portland St., will play two FCS teams
Air Force (wants a 6th home game on 9/4) - filled by Northwestern St.,
Louisiana Tech (already has six home games, may be willing to do a road game, already scheduled to play Southern Miss) - will play Grambling in Shreveport on 9/4
Southern Miss (may want a 6th home game) - Filled by Prairie View A&M
Syracuse (wants a 6th home game) - ???
TCU (needs another game, may be willing to do a road game with five on-campus home games and game at Cowboys Stadium) - Expected to be Texas St.

By Louisiana Tech playing in Shreveport, they won't be playing a 13th game.

That would suck....I blame the SU Athletic Department for this.
