about Butler. Ten of the fifteen players on their roster are from Indiana.
In one sense they're like UALR in that they are located in the largest city in the state, Indianapolis, although they're not the state university.
But unlike UALR, they seem to be able to get a lot of good players from their home state, while we haven't been able to recruit our top rated players that don't go to Fayetteville.

I don't know how many kids come out of Arkansas each year that go out of state that could actually help our program, but I've seen a few that play against us that have looked pretty good. And obviously some that have made an impact at BCS schools such as Ole Miss and Oklahoma State among others. This is something that needs to be addressed if we are ever to become the type program most of us aspire to be. Our coaches have to be able to sell those kids on UALR. We're at the point with our facilities and length of time as a D1 program that it should be happening. Let's hope it happens fairly soon.04-cheers

If it doesn't happen soon, a large number of our fans, including you and I, won't be around to see it. And I don't see it happening soon.
