Need this win to advance the streak to 5 games. I won't be able to watch this game, so gonna need the rest of ya'll to pull us through. If we are able to put Stetson down that would give us a 4 game lead in the loss column, with the tiebreaker against Stetson. That would be very comforting heading into our last 8 games.

This game also moves us to .500 in conference play. A lot of implications for our young team. Can they handle the success? A lot of times people thinking about a team dealing with failure...well our guys have proven they can bounce back from that, but can they handle the success of a winning streak. They need to come out hungry and ready kill on Monday.

We handled them easily at their house, so you'd think given form we should take care of them. Best not to take them lightly all the same. But to get back to 6-6 after starting off so poorly would be great.

Five game win streak. That game goes a long to ensuring a tourney birth. Not only do we extend our lead over Stetson by a game.. we also lock up the tie breaker with a sweep.

Thursday's game versus Mercer, in my opinion, is the biggest game of our young D-I lives. Mercer is dominating FGCU right now 30-17 with 2 minutes left in the 1st half (CSS if anyone is interested). If that score holds, it will be 7-5 Mercer @ 6-6 KSU. The winner of that game is in the driver's seat for the 5th seed in conference. ETSU lost to Belmont tonight and are 7-5 as well. If we can keep up this intensity, mathematically speaking, we could move up to around 3rd in conference, if our cards fall right of course. For now though, I am content with tonight's win and am looking forward to the big game on Thursday.

I always enjoy watching Stetson simply because Coach Waugh is fun to watch when they're losing. Between beating his palm with the rolled up piece of paper he carries around and roaring like Godzilla when he dislikes an official's call, I just can't get enough. LOL

I'm surprised at the lack of fouls in this game. For the most part, the play was pretty clean, but there were some missed calls on both ends.

But I'll take any win during this streak -- great, ugly, or otherwise. Let's make it six against Mercer!

The score makes the game seem somewhat competitive...it was anything but that. There was never really any doubt. We were to athletic and to big. Though i wish we closed the game out better, we started showboating a bit.

Mercer shall show no mercy. We have not forgotten Ingle running up the score against a team with 3 suspended starters!!!

It is great to be on a streak like this and I can't wait to see how things go against Mercer. I agree with Escalade that this game is probably the biggest game that we have in our young D-I career. I also am ecstatic to see the boys running offensive sets on a regular basis. I can remember back to the beginning of the year when it was all pass around the arc and shoot late in the clock. Now we are showing some discipline and creativity, giving the fans something to really get excited about.

That said I also agree with 84 it is a little frustrating to see the boys showboating as much as they were tonight, especially when they were wasting easy opportunities. However to look at this in a positive light, it also means that we are playing with some confidence which is great to see. This will be big as look to beat Mercer on thursday!

Great win! I had to watch it on A-Sun Tv. I have to say some of the "charges" were total BS! I am looking for forward to the Mercer game. Hopefully we can get a good crowd out there. Everybody on the board should try and invite some new people to come out.
