I plan on going but will not buy a book this year. I thought i was buying reserved seats last year. I went to 3 sessions, so 83/3=~27. I ain't doing that again. The money i save i can eat on.

I want to support it but funds are too tight have the weekend cost 500 bucks again and drive back and forth.

Edit: I went back and checked. I paid 166 total but 83 per. I still don't think I will be buying a book. I will probably make 3 sessions by myself, so 45 bucks should cover it.

I believe I paid $83 last year for the package thru UALR. I assume it will be the same this year since the package advertised by the Tournament is $128 which seems to be the same or close to last years.

I left a voice mail for JP yesterday for tickets (assume weather kept him from going to work). When he calls back I will order my tickets. They should be about $45 cheaper thru the school but they are general admission tickets. The best part is that they are stamped with the UALR id so for the Trojan games you still get to set behind the teams.

There will be a lot of games to watch (Men & Women) and I plan to watch most of them. Men could surprise a few teams but we know the Women will be exciting.

After I confirm my price with JP I will post the cost.

The number of UALR men's games will likely be limited- Although I don't see a team we can't beat. If we are a 12 seed we will play the 5 seed and then the 4 seed if we win. So we wouldn't have to face a seeded team until Monday, at the earliest. That's the good news. The bad news is that WKU could very well that 5 seed we play in the first round.

Interesting question. Ynocpirt can't get his wife to a women's game either- thus we usually sit together when we go. Not sure if I've seen PTJR's wife at a women's game in the last few years. My wife did seem somewhat open to going to the women's game against ASU (beating ASU in anything is fun) so we'll see. Although the last time she agreed to come to a women's game, as part of a doubleheader, her first question was "Can I bring my knitting".

You guys are complaining? I can't get my wife to come to a men's or women's game. But at least she doesn't mind me attending, which I guess is a blessing. She usually comes to about one game a year when one of our grandsons can't come for some reason.

I can understand a person not wanting to go to a women's game. I never wanted to go to one either. In all my years of watching high school games, I always tried to get to the gym in time for the boys game. Prior to Foley coming, I only saw the Trojan girls play once, and that was in the Sun Belt tournament, and it just happened to be the last game Foley's predecessor coached. Someone talked me into going to a game Foley's first year at the old field house, and while they lost the game, I rather enjoyed it. I started going all the time when, thanks to Chris Peterson, he included the girls games into the season ticket package. While I still prefer watching men play, I do really enjoy Foley's girls, and especially Chastity Reed. I wouldn't think that players like Chastity come along very often at the mid-major level. I certainly enjoy watching the girls more than the guys this season.

Just spoke with JP Flynn and ordered my tickets for the tournament. This year they have gone up $7. They are now $90 each. Still a lot of basketball for the money. Will pick up my tickets at the luncheon tomorrow.
