Sunbelt Tournament Tickets on Sale thru UALR
Going to be a lot of games in Hot Springs this year. If you get the UALR package your tickets allow you to sit in the sections behind our teams when they are playing. The Men could surprise and we know the Women will be fun to watch.

I think we have a chance to win at least three out of five of our remaining home games, and maybe we could do better. If we could scratch out a win on the road, that gives us six conference wins. I can't see any way in the world we can get to ten conference wins before the tournament. But that's why we play the games. I recall Jeff saying before the season that this would be a good team before the season was over. I don't think he thought it would take so long, but maybe his prophecy will still come to pass.04-cheers

Wasn't that before we lost Svelte Mike and Lionel?

Yes and no. At that time, everyone knew Mike would have a major role, but nobody but, obviously Steve and maybe MJS, you and Kerry, thought Lionel would get much playing time this year. He had done very little as a freshman to think he would be given the chance to play a major role this season. And I hate to say this, but I still feel that decision was the worst coaching decision made this season. Had the lineup been as it should have been, with Solo and III at the guard positions, Alex at the three, Mike at the four, and someone at the five, I think we would have won several more games. And had that lineup been intact throughout the conference season, there's no doubt in my mind that we'd be .500. But the coaches couldn't help Mike's injury, but the other decision was a poor one, IMO. And it cost us dearly. 01-lauramac2
