Our most effective lineup was one I've been
suggesting all season. Solo, III, Kelson or Ricky, Alex and Bails. I think I posted this suggestion just last week. Even my grandson commented he couldn't believe we had four shooters in the game at the same time during one segment. Actually Nick might have been in the game at that time. And really glad to see him get some good minutes. He didn't take but one shot, but he played some defense and passed the ball well. Has to do a lot for his confidence.
I was at the ladies game the night before and walked out of the arena with Nick. He told me at that time he had lost confidence since he hadn't played any for awhile, so this should be a shot in the arm for his confidence.

I really hope he stays. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really think he'll be special for us down the line. Did you tell him he had a sponsor on the board? :)

One positive remark he made was that this was his freshman year, so he hoped that next year he'd get more playing time. That led me to believe he's planning on coming back. Of course I can remember sitting with Chris Thornton (remember him) at our annual banquet when we used to have those, and he was looking forward to coming back too, but he obviously was moved out, not by his own doing. So we'll see.
