ETSU is a big game...(L 57-72)
We gain some seperation in the standings with a win as they have 3 loses. If we are to win the ASun we have to beat them at least once.

On the road at their place makes it even harder than a normal road game. The aircraft hanger they play in is not good for Bball.

Bottom line is we have to sack up and bring it.

There is no possible way to predict this game...or really any ASUN game this year. This league is up for grabs for just about anyone.

RE: ETSU is a big game...
Since we won against Lipscomb we don't have to win this game to win the conference but a win over ETSU would put us much much closer.

We started the conference with 4 home and 6 away games. If we can go 8-2 then we should be in good shape for the second half of the schedule with 6 home and 4 away games.

I think that 15-5 wins the conference this year. If we can beat ETSU, win our 6 home games and then win just one game on the road against FGCU, Stetson, N. Florida or Jacksonville (big game) then I think we can win the conference. A loss to ETSU would mean that we would have to atleast split our remianing away games. This depends on what everyone else does but the way the season has gone I think everyone will atleast lose one or two games over the last half of the conference schedule.

Big game indeed. If we win this game I think we are the clear cut favorite to win the A-Sun

I'm still not convinced you're the clear favorite, even if you win. I can see any one of the top 5 teams pulling it out. As it stands right now, JU is the team to beat IMHO. Last week I thought it was Mercer, but they continue to under-achieve.

In any case, this is such a pivotal game for both teams. You guys can create some space; we can perhaps turn the corner. There's a great deal of debate among ETSU fans if we can and will turn that corner this year. The jury is still out for me.

This will make for a great college basketball team.

p.s.-Billy Pope Fan: I recognize that the Mini-Dome is the butt of many jokes, but I can tell you there's a charm to that place that only an ETSU fan could love. That said, I still want a new arena!!

Dodson...........you're killing me.

I liked that we came raging back but those back to back threes broke our hearts.

We had a good comeback but again - You can't miss open layups (J-Rod) and you can't miss free thows (Preston and J-Rod) and expect to win - especially on the road against a team like ETSU.

I think ETSU is the best conference team we have played so far. If they get on a roll they can run the table. We have got to come home now and win some games at home and get back on the right track.

Camel I would like to think so, but we are just so unpredictable. We shot 59% tonight. If we have our usual crappy shooting performance we lose.
