Watching the Memphis/Marshall game and I've watched Memphis a few times this year. Not predicting a win in either game, but I think we match up much better against Memphis than UTEP.

Derrick Caracter injured his knee in practice Tuesday. 2 different reports out right now: either tweaked knee or injured quad. He sat out for the Tulane game, but he's expected to play Saturday. It makes you wonder if he'll try to be gentle with that knee.

The UTEP games are really worrying me too. I feel we can win both but we have to play two of our better defensive games becasue they have so many weapons.

They don't have any Birmingham players on the team so they won't have to show out in front of a home town crowd and have a career night against you.

I thought the report I saw said that Caracter would be re-evaluated today. Sounded like more of a knee injury. Still may be back for Saturday, but I do think that was contingent upon what kind of report he gets today.
