When they were up at Marshall, after the game they went back to their hotel. Bryan said he walked into the hotel and George Drake was on the piano in the lobby. He was playing "Lean on Me" and the team was singing with along him. That might sound a little hokey from here, but I gotta think it meant something to the guys who were there when it broke out spontaneously. You really gotta like this bunch of kids. They bust their humps, they refuse to quit, and they represent UAB well.

UAB hasn't had a feel good story like this team in quite a while. I'm enjoying the ride, and I know y'all are too.

Not to diminish the story, but remember they were in Huntingdon, West Virginia after all. Playing the piano, singing Lean on Me in the hotel is about all there was to do.
