After what i just heard yesterday from a player in the program i am stunned about the support from these two idiots toward the Mens and Womens tennis programs. Corstange and Beauregard needs to get there chit together and realize the mens and womens tennis team is in need of money.

Did you know the tennis team isnt allowed to recruit out of state because of the budget!!! only international cause they are used as instate tuition!! this is shocking and absord. The team gets new uniforms every FOUR years!!!!! The worst part of this is there team MEALS ARE AT WENDYS!!?!!?!? how pathetic is that?? They win constantly year after year after year. Mens and womens tennis actually wins MAC titles unlike the sucky basketball teams and Football team.

We are lucky to have great coaches in Morin and Kuhle. But if i was them i would resign and move on. i mean this is a DIVISON 1 program and they can only afford WENDYS????

So you want to cut the budget of the sports that bring in revenue and give it to sports that don't? I was at Quiznos last fall and the Cleveland St tennis team came in for a meal. No bus either. They were traveling in a van. Should their AD be fired as well? Why not be impressed with the job that the tennis coaches have done with the limited budget instead of calling for the firing on the AD for a lack of budget.

Of course, what we should do is restrict recruiting for all sports to Michigan and international only.

And why the hell do athletic teams need new uniforms every year? Sounds like a waste of money to me.

It's not as big a deal as you think. Both men's and women's teams have been doing this for several years with great success. One of the things WMU has going for it is the USGA Junior Tournament is here, so all of the top MI talent views Kalamazoo has a tennis center. It's worked for K College for decades. And there's a ton of great overseas tennis talent.

As for where they eat, most of the time they eat at home like every other student at WMU. I doubt they have a meal allowance to eat every day at Wendys.

Hey, don't knock Wendys! I eat there on road trips for the company. Food is good, reasonably priced and quickly served. Now if it were White Castle I'd agree it was a step too far!

If you've got a girlfriend on the Tennis team and that's where this anger is coming from, we expect pictures. In uniform.

With that logic they might as well fire President Dunn also.
It might help if Gov. Grandhom was gone first, she controls the major part of WMU funding.
We certainly need to also dump Obama as there never has been a president that has put the USA this deeply in the red and not enough of his deficit spending dollars has been headed to WMU. Just think how much USA red ink there will be in three more years.

My late father-in-law used to supply all the blueberries for the tennis Tournament. It truly is a great event for Kalamazoo.

Ok smart guy, what part of the budget do you take the money away from the basketball and football teams? And remember, whatever you take away could affect the product on the field and cause a bigger drop in revenue and thus hurt the tennis budget even more.

At least Wendy's uses fresh, never frozen beef unlike McDonald's. I could really go for a jr. bacon cheeseburger right now.
