RE: Some Power Ranking Fun
As a Miami fan, I have a problem with the accuracy of your comments. First you said that BG has played the toughest schedule of the midlevel MAC teams. According to Sagarin, BG's schedule is #125, Miami's is currently #2 in the nation. In MAC action they have both played the same 4 teams, 2 at home and 2 on the road, both are 2-2. You also made the comment about Miami getting blown out by a team like Louisiana Tech. You thought that was a bad team. La Tech is currently 17-2 and #53 in the Sagarin rankings, and Miami did not get blown out by them. You also commented that it would not surprise you if Miami lost their opening MAC tournament game by 35 points, even though a 25 point loss at New Mexico is the worst loss they have suffered. Your comments show that you did not research this subject well enough to give an accurate rating. Maybe we deserve to be rated that low, but the statements you made show that you do not have the proper information to rank the teams accurately/fairly.

I think that is a fine idea. I understand you take the byline, but can I be a contributor?

Why don't you do your own power ranking of the power rankings? Then people can rank our rankings.
That's one heckuva an idea. When should I have mine ready? We should probably release them a day or so apart so they're not the same.

I thought it'd be interesting sort of AP vs Coaches.

Well, being in the 10th spot, that makes you a bottom-level MAC team

RE: Some Power Ranking Fun
I have no qualms about Buffalo at 3. But how do you call a team that went to the MACC, has 7 Sr's, was picked East #3 pre-season, and was behind only Akron in pre-season votes to win the MACC, a dark horse pick?
