RE: BE still talking with Papa Johns Bowl
I think possibly the option may be made available for only 1 year or maybe 2 anyway.
The sec has had 10 eligible 2 of the last 4.
The liberty could do it in a year where an attractive at large is still available to fill the slot.

Wonder how many years SEC has had 10 bowl elgible teams with 2 BCS teams...and therefore no bowl elgible #9 SEC team? I am too lazy to look it up.

10 eligible fills all of their bowls including 2 bcs (they have 8 ancillary bowl tie ins).
They have had 10, 9 ,8 ,10 eligible last 4 years.

maybe its time to go back to bowl chaos where all bowl tie ins are eliminated, thus football stadiums can be packed with colorful sportscoat wearing officials cutting some cigar smoke filed room deals.
