Credit to Pitt for winning it once it got to OT. Sosa just absolutely blew it in the last 90 seconds however. A complete choke job. UofL had to lose it in regulation, and he did just that by himself. Sent to the free throw line 3 times, he misses the front end of a 1 & 1, then misses 2 straight, then makes 1 of 2.

That sounds like the whole SU team.

Yeah, I think it can be said that the game had no business making it to OT, but once it got there, Pitt was mentally tougher and more fundamentally sound. It earned them a win an they stay perfect in the league.

From what I've seen, Pitt is a sound team fundamentally, and they don't make many mistakes. The Panthers are a very well coached team...

definately didn't help, but also let pitt convert on their possessions. Agree though that ville kept the door open at the end.

Pitino is doing a crappy job with this team. They have a ton of talent yet continue to find ways to flop. Wonder if banging staff member's wives in restaraunt's after hours and the associated lawsuits and media scrutiny from the summer has taken its toll on his handling of this year's team.

At this point I disagree. If his senior point guard makes 1 extra free throw then we're sitting here talking about how UofL is 4-1 and tied for 2nd in the league. He didn't brick the FT's.
